Rolling Sea Action Fund To Reach Black Voters In Alabama’s 2nd District

NEW AD: RSAF Reaches Black Votes in Mobile + Montgomery

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rolling Sea Action Fund launched a five-figure radio campaign in Alabama’s Second Congressional District drawing the contrast between the dedicated leadership of Democratic nominee Shomari Figures and extremist GOP nominee Caroleene Hardee Dodson. It’s a part of a larger seven-figure campaign to reach Black voters in competitive House battlegrounds. The ad, entitled “Thrive” will reach voters on Black radio contrasting Figures’ deep connections to the districts and pro Alabama agenda with Hardee Dobson’s extreme plan to rip away social security and medicare while providing tax cuts for wealthy like herself. “Thrive” will air now through Election Day.

SCRIPT: “Thrive”

For Shomari Figures.....Alabama is home.

His dedication to service started in a church pew where his grandfather preached on Sundays

He’s now running for Congress to advocate for the people of Alabama

That’s why he supports expanding health care access

investing in our educators to improve our schools

helping our small businesses grow

And making sure we have safe communities to raise our families in

His opponent Caroleene Dobson is running to support the rich and powerful like herself
At the expense of Alabama families

Her extreme agenda would give the wealthy huge tax breaks

While doing nothing for us

And Caroleene Dobson would support cuts to social security and medicare – programs we rely on - and paid into

This Election, the choice is clear

Vote for Shomari Figures for Congress - he’s the right choice for Alabama
