At Rolling Sea Action Fund, we embrace the triumphant nature of the Black community, celebrating our diversity intersecting with our Blackness. We strive to make a resounding impact and stand out as a powerful voice in the political landscape. We aim to engage a wide spectrum of Black individuals, speaking to the strength, resilience, and mobilizing power of Black voters. We support lawmakers, candidates, and policy agendas that promote these values.
These are the key areas we are prioritizing:
Voter Education
RSAF looks to provide comprehensive and accessible voter education materials specifically tailored to the Black community. We aim to equip Black voters with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions and navigate the voting process effectively.
Grassroots Connections
Our organization actively engages in voter registration drives, reaching out to Black communities across the nation. We implement strategic initiatives to encourage and mobilize Black voters to cast our ballots in every election. Our efforts include community outreach programs, organizing transportation to polling stations, and partnering with local community leaders and organizations to increase voter engagement.
Advocacy and Policy Influence
We advocate for policies that address the unique challenges faced by Black communities. RSAF actively engages with policymakers, elected officials, and political candidates to promote legislation and initiatives that champion equity, social justice, and economic empowerment for Black voters.
Civic Engagement
In addition to electoral participation, our organization promotes broader civic engagement among Black voters. We encourage community involvement, promote awareness of local issues, and provide opportunities for individuals to actively participate in grassroots movements, activism, and leadership development.
Partnerships and Collaborations
Rolling Sea Action Fund understands the importance of building strategic partnerships and collaborations. We work closely with other organizations, civil rights groups, faith-based communities, and businesses to strengthen our collective efforts and amplify our impact.
