This multi-pronged approach includes increased financial assistance for Black farmers and ranchers, a commitment to double apprenticeship opportunities, and a pledge to work with Congress on fair hiring practices.
Additionally, the plan aims to expand job opportunities by doubling apprenticeship programs and advocating for the reduction of barriers in hiring practices, including limitations on the use of criminal arrest histories and credit scores in employment evaluations. These initiatives represent a holistic approach to empowering Black communities and promoting economic justice.
